  • Hannah Brooman

    Hannah Brooman

    Founder and Ceo

    In 2011, Hannah took her passion for using sport to create social change & founded InUnity. Initially working in both London (Sutton) and Birmingham, Hannah is proud of InUnity and what we have created. Her passion for supporting young people, and knowing that if young people have positive opportunities, they can achieve anything is what continues to drive Hannah each and every day.

  • Amanda Clarke- Operations Manager

    Amanda Clarke

    Operations Manager

    Mandi joined InUnity in 2016, redirecting her career from supporting young people in education to working in the third sector. Initially coming on board to support InUnity’s girls’ work, she has since progressed into the role of Operations Manager. From behind the scenes, Mandi now supports young people by ensuring the delivery team has everything they need to run high-quality, impactful youth programmes.

    Carli LLoyd

    Programmes Manager

    Carli is the Programmes Manager at InUnity, bringing together youth work, community engagement and creative practice. She is passionate about working alongside young people on programmes that support wellbeing, confidence, personal development and positive social action. Carli believes young people should be heard, valued and involved in decisions that affect them, and that with meaningful opportunities they can thrive and shape their communities.


  • Billy Vipond- Community Sport & Youth Worker

    Community Sport & Youth Worker

    Billy joined InUnity in a part-time role while studying at college. He has since progressed into a permanent position and is passionate about leading our work supporting families in temporary accommodation, as well as delivering personal development programmes around topics including mental health, resilience and young men's development. Striving to give all young people the support needed to provide a positive future.

    Louise Mills

    Chair
    Louise brings a wealth of expertise from the field of sport & public health.  Lou currently works for Telford & Wrekin council commissioning team for Public Health & therefore really understands what the third sector can achieve. Lou has been a trustee since InUnity’s inception in 2011 & has bought depth & experience to the InUnity family.

    Steve Williams

    Treasurer

    Steve came to InUnity in the role of a mentor through our supporters, Sported. His experience in finance makes him a great asset to our Board – providing analysis and support on our accounts & encouraging InUnity to look at ways of diversifying our income.  His love of sport too means he is just the perfect guy for this role!

  • James  Brooman

    James Brooman

    Although James is husband to InUnity’s founder & CEO, Hannah – he still provides a lot of support to InUnity in his role as trustee.  IT, back-office support and GDPR is all his thing.  This role complements his day to day work, being part of a large corporate & provides fresh eyes and ideas to the team.

  • Darren Phillips

    Darren Phillips

    Darren has always been a ‘friend’ of InUnity, but became a trustee in 2021.  A real all-rounder who enjoys comedy, cricket, music and all things community, that’s why he was attracted to InUnity; using all those passions for social good!  By day Darren works as a project manager so brings that experience to InUnity, thinking about funding, risk management and the various processes that go with managing grant funded programmes. 

  • Simon Hall

    Simon Hall

    Born in Worcestershire and with other 25 years working in the West Midlands commercial, voluntary and public sector in sport for health, economic development and social change, Simon brings extensive knowledge and expertise in developing stakeholder relationships and attracting funding. You can also guarantee that he will ask about the learning and impact on any work we are doing. A runner, a bee keeper and a big Birmingham City fan

  • Sarah Mitton

    With a background in supporting innovation and social entrepreneurship in communities, for the last decade Sarah has brought her creative thinking to the Social Housing Sector. Up until the end of last year she led Clarion Housing Group’s Age Friendly programmes, developing and delivering a range of projects to connect neighbourhoods across generations and ensure residents across all ages had a voice on the issues that matter most. More recently, Sarah started a new role with Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as Head of Customer Engagement – leading on their new Customer Engagement Model. In her spare time Sarah is the weakest player in her pub quiz team; loves to read and look at art; and spends a lot of time taking her children to various clubs and events.
