Young Brum – Changemakers

Changemakers is all about empowering young Brummies to take the lead and create change.

As part of our programme, young people come together to pitch ideas, decide on a project as a team, and bring it to life in their community. It’s a chance to build leadership, grow in confidence, and develop skills that set them up for the future.

So far in 2025, one group has planned a youth event focused on life after college, helping their peers feel more prepared for what’s next. Another group has led the way with a mental health event inside their college, creating a supportive space where students can have honest conversations and access the help they need.
