Girls just wanna’ have fun!

We finished February with a fantastic Girls Night In! session at Woodrush Hub in Wythall. Following the old-school youth club model, the session was full of sports, crafts, and, of course, a tuck shop.

On Friday 27th February, 37 girls aged 9–11 joined us for quizzes, badge-making, bedazzling activities, and a very loud karaoke session!

Girls Night In! remains one of our most popular sessions and is the only regular programme we currently run in Worcestershire.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we have been able to deliver sessions in Worcester, Wythall, and Frankley over the past 12 months.

Feedback from both the girls and their parents shows that the sessions provide a valuable space for girls to gain independence as they transition to secondary school and offer fantastic opportunities to make new friends.
